About

Pixel Verdict started as a group chat where a few friends kept sending each other links to games they couldn't put down. At some point we realized we were writing full paragraphs about controls and pacing, so we turned it into a proper site.

We cover everything: puzzles that eat your commute, sprawling RPGs, tense strategy titles, quick arcade runs. There's no single genre we favor, because a good game is a good game regardless of the label on the store page.

Games get picked in a simple way. Someone on the team either stumbles on something interesting, gets a tip from a reader, or notices a title climbing the charts. We install it, play for several hours minimum, and only then decide if it earns a write-up.

We don't run sponsored reviews and we don't take payment to inflate a score. If a game disappoints us, we say so, and if it surprises us, we say that too.
